ULDALL acquires neighboring properties totaling 22,000 square meters in Vejen
The ULDALL iron foundry in Vejen is securing its future presence in Vejen with the acquisition of the company’s neighboring plots totaling 22,000 square meters. The purchase is intended to both ensure development opportunities and support local jobs in Vejen in the long term.
ULDALL has acquired a total of 22,000 square meters of neighboring land adjacent to the foundry’s existing facilities on Søndergade in Vejen. With this purchase, the iron foundry aims to secure its future development opportunities while sending a clear signal that Vejen remains its natural home.
Although there are no concrete construction plans for the plots at this time, the acquisition gives ULDALL the opportunity to expand its facilities. Therefore, in the near future, some of the vegetation bordering the foundry will be cleared so that the plots are ready for potential expansion.

That is why we have chosen to secure the opportunity to develop the company, says Sales Director Dion Brun.
The newly acquired plots consist of two parcels totaling 22,000 square meters of industrial land and are located directly adjacent to ULDALL’s current site, which is home to a total of 69 employees.
One of the opportunities the company sees in the plots is the establishment of new warehouse facilities. In addition to expanding ULDALL’s storage space, these facilities will create an effective noise barrier for the neighbors in the Vinkelvej industrial area.
- We are seeing that our customers are demanding ever greater flexibility, and at the same time, we are handling more models than before. A new warehouse solution will strengthen our service, reduce internal transport, and create better opportunities for long-term business development. The most important thing right now is that we have secured the opportunity to think long-term while ensuring a good solution for our neighbors, says Dion Brun.
He also emphasizes that the purchase does not change the company’s current operations or staffing. Production will continue as before in Vejen, and the acquisition should be viewed as an investment in the company’s future growth opportunities.
