When your component is cast, we offer several options for quality control.
Additionally, we can handle the machining and surface treatment of the cast iron components, so you can receive an assembly-ready component that can go directly into your production.
ULDALL has a close partnership with a handful of processors in our local area, who can manage the machining of the produced components. Furthermore, ULDALL is part of the foundry group BIRN Group, which consists of six companies, each specializing in cast iron solutions. We collaborate across the companies and can thus draw on solutions in areas such as machining.
This means that ULDALL is your full-service supplier of assembly-ready solutions.
We offer
Quality control
We control and analyze the molten iron and any nodularization thereof (EN-GJS). Additionally, we offer specific services such as microscopy, magnaflux, ultrasound, and certification of mechanical properties for marine or industrial use.
Machining
This solution is well-suited for customers who do not have machining experience and/or machining in-house. The machining service is also advantageous if, for logistical or capacity reasons, you do not want raw castings but rather an assembly-ready component.
Surface treatment
At ULDALL, we have our own in-house painter who can metallize and wet paint. If there are requirements for other surfaces, we collaborate with external surface treatment specialists who can handle everything from powder coating and nickel plating to e-coating or zinc phosphating.
